Best True Wireless Earbuds Under 100 Review
Now number 10 on the list is the brand new earfun air. This is a pair that comes in at 59 and although I’m not a huge fan of the stem style design. My number 10 and number 9 have this design just because the sound is so good.
It’s kind of hard to overlook them. Now in my opinion this is the right alternative to Apple AirPods. They have ACC and SBC playback and I don’t notice any lag in watching videos or movies.
As far as the IP rating these come in rated at IPX7. So, these are completely waterproof and easily a pair that you can wear anywhere and no need to worry.
The battery life on these you’re getting seven hours on the earbuds by themselves with around 35 hours total using the case. Another huge plus is these also have the fast charge feature where a 10-minute charge is going to get you two hours of use.
The case on these is also a cheap wireless charging case. The controls on the earbuds themselves, it uses touch controls that give you the ability to control everything. It also has smart sensors.
So, if you pull the earbuds out it will automatically pause and it will also automatically resume when you put the earbuds back in. When it comes to the sound of these the sound is extremely dynamic it has a very nice punchy bass with really detailed midst and some really clean treble.
So, you’re not missing out on details but you’re still getting a nice impact when it comes to the bass. That’s what puts the earfun air coming in at number 10.
Reason To Buy
- 4-Mic Noise-Canceling Call Technology
- IPX7 Sweatproof & Waterproof
- Snappy USB-C and Wireless Charging
- Robust 35 Hours of Playtime
Now moving over to number nine like I said this is another stem style design earbud. This is the MPOW X3. Now again this is another pair that comes in at $59 but this pair has active noise canceling.
The noise-canceling is not like anything special on these. It does block out a little bit of the sound around you. This reason I put these on the list. Yet back to the sound but like other features it is.
It does have ACC and SBC playback and just like the earfun air. These are rated in at ipx7. So again, another pair that you can submerge into the water.
When it comes to the battery life on these also getting seven hours on the earbuds by themselves with around 35 hours total using the case.
These also use touch controls and they also give you the ability to control everything. The sound that is in them is very loud and very heavy.
If you are a bass lover who just likes to be able to feel that subwoofer type or just be able to feel the impact of the bass without getting lost in the midst of you. This is an excellent pair to look at and that’s what puts the mpow x3 in at number nine.
Reason To Buy
- Incredible Call Quality
- USB-C Quick Charge
- IPX7 Sweatproof
- Right Mono Mode
Now number eight on the list is the fiil t1x. This is a pair that usually costs fifty dollars but in reality, right now on Amazon, you can pick these up for $43. These have app control that gives you a bunch of different eq settings.
This kind of has the ability to change the sound depending on which settings you choose in the app. They also have APTX, ACC, and SBC playback. So, you’re getting some of the best Bluetooth codecs.
Right out of the box these now come in ipx5 rates. This is definitely not a pair that you can submerge into the water. This is still easily a pair that you can go out and not have to worry about.
The battery life on these you are going to get around six hours on the earbuds themselves with around 24 hours total using the case. These also have the fast charge feature where a quick 10-minute charge will get you two hours of use.
These also have touch controls and they give you the ability to control everything. Now on top of having really impressive sound, these also have incredible isolation. So even after ringing the earrings they automatically start blocking your surroundings though.
They don’t have noise-canceling and it just gives you better overall listening experience. Because you don’t have your outside surroundings interfering with your music. These have is extremely nice and punchy.
It picked up details very well. It had a lot of nice pickups when it comes to vocal range and again like I said earlier because of the app. You do have the ability to switch between different eq settings to kind of alter.
The sound is a lot of different ways where many other budget earbuds do not give you. This feature and that’s what put the fiil t1x coming in at number eight.
Reason To Buy
- Support FIIL+ APP
- Bluetooth5.0 & 1-Second Pairing
- 24H Playing & 36H Calling with Portable Charging Case
- Waterproof & Smart Touch Control
Sabbat E12 Ultra
Number seven on the list is one of those pairs that has been hanging around for quite some time and this is the Sabbat E12 Ultra. Which is a pair that comes in at eighty dollars.
The Ultras is basically a rebuilt version of what was already a great earbud on the original Sabbat E12. These include Aptx and ACC Playback. Their IP rating is rated at ipx 5.
Again, this is not a pair that you can drown in, a pair that you can wear, and no need to worry. A huge thing about Sabbath, they come with a bunch of different ear tips with two different sets where one emphasizes.
The base is quite a bit where the other obviously focuses a lot more. So, just by switching out, you have the ability to sign two different types of sound signatures. Their battery life you get six hours on earbuds for a total of about 30 hours using the Care.
There is the case is a wireless charging case. So, I just like the ability of my charger to sit on its wireless charger and not have to worry about just looking for it. So, this is definitely a huge bonus and control here.
These use button controls but they give you control over everything. What makes them special is the base when it comes to their sound. The Sabbat E12 Ultra has the most impressive and most impressive alloy.
I have heard of real wireless earbuds. If you have the main guy then, of course, it’s a pair I’m going to point you to, but it still sounds great with all the genres where the shaft doesn’t end up taking.
The voice has really good clarity in the middle when it comes to the voice and the trio still makes that pretty clear sound to him. The Sabbat E12 Ultra is a great pair coming in at number seven.
Reason To Buy
- Deep bass Hi-Fi quality sound
- Built-in microphone with noise-canceling function
- Qi Smart charging box
So, number six on the list is the Sony WF-XB700. Now, this is kind of cheating a little bit because of the price. The original price on these was $129 but I found that they pretty much stay on sale all the time for $99.
So that’s why I put them on this list and I think they are an excellent pair. I don’t like the fact that they decided to not have these be compatible with Sony’s app. Which I feel is one of the best apps out there.
So really, you’re just getting the sound. It’s intended right out of the box. This kind of went the route that apple takes where it doesn’t give you a whole lot of information on what Bluetooth codecs that it uses.
I did notice that I had a solid stable connection. I didn’t have any lag in watching movies or videos. The IP rating that’s on these is IPX4. This is on the lower end compared to some of the other ones on the list.
The battery life is very impressive because it comes in at nine hours on the earbuds by themself with around 18 hours total. So technically you’re only going to get one charge out of the case before you need to charge it.
They also have the fast charge feature where a 10-minute charge will get you an hour’s worth of use. The button controls on here were done a little bit differently by moving the actual push button on the bottom of the earbud.
I am happy to say that it gives you the ability to control everything and then the sound on these comes back to the name. This is the Sony WF-XB700 and there is a lot of focus on the base.
But luckily it doesn’t destroy your midst and you get a very impactful feel. This is a resonating type base where it feels like it punches but still kind of hangs around a little bit. But there is a lot of attention to the midst.
I felt vocals sounded great in these the treble was nice and clean. It does have a warmer tone to it overall. So, it’s kind of depends on the sound signature that you like. You will definitely not be missing out on bass when it comes to these and that’s what puts the Sony WF-XB700 in at number six.
Reason To Buy
- Battery Life
- Wearing Detection
- Ambient Sound and App Control
- Quick Charge
Soundcore Spirit Dot 2
So, number five on the list is the soundcore spirit dot 2. This is a pair that comes in at $80. I felt like these were a baby version of the liberty 2 pro which is sound cores like higher-end earbud in their lineup.
This is another pair where there wasn’t any information on what Bluetooth codecs that these uses. But I had a very nice solid stable connection and didn’t have any issues when it came to that. The IP rating on these.
They come in rated at ipx7 and they are completely waterproof. So, this is a pair that you can submerge into water and you don’t have to worry. The battery life on these you’re only going to get around five and a half hours on the earbud itself.
You are going to get around 16 hours total using the case. They also have a fast charge feature where a 10-minute charge will get you an hour’s worth of use. Now moving over to the earbuds, one thing that I noticed is they are very small, because these use the wingtips.
I noticed that they stayed in my ears very nicely and they weren’t a pair I had to worry about falling out. The controls on here, they do use touch controls but it is very confusing the controls.
They decided to let you use it because they don’t have volume control. They don’t give you the ability to go back to the previous track. You can only go forward and then you can play and pause.
I really would like to see them give you additional controls or at least give you volume control. The ability to go back to the previous track. Now what makes these special in my opinion is the sound.
The sound is very similar to their more expensive models like I said. I consider these a baby version of the liberty 2 pro which means you’re getting a nice bass.
You are getting a very nice clean sound although these don’t work with soundcores app. It sticks to giving you sound core signature sound which I enjoy and that’s what puts the soundcore spirit dot 2 in at number five.
Reason To Buy
- IPX7 Waterproof Protection
- Thumping Bass
- Individual Connections
- Touch Control
Bomaker SiFi 2
Number four on the list is the bomaker sifi 2. This pair only comes in at $50 and they took an already great pair, made some nice improvements, and made this kind of a no-brainer. When it comes to finding a pair where you don’t have to spend a lot.
This using the LDS antenna which means you’re going to get a very solid stable connection. It also has ACC and SBC playback which is great for people who like to watch movies or videos. They have also ipx7.
Again, another pair that if you drop them into the water you are going to be fine. The battery life is also really impressive where you’re going to get seven hours on the earbuds themselves with around 37 hours total using the case.
They also have a fast charge feature where a 10-minute charge will get you an hour’s worth of use. The controls on here are touch controls and I’m happy to say that you can control everything.
But what makes these special is the sound on these are fantastic they have excellent range. It does have a warmer sound overall. This is a pair that I feel is great for bass heads but it has a lot of excellent details when it comes to the midst.
This is not a pair that the bass is going to just destroy everything else but the bass is pushed forward. I like the impact that these hats. The bomaker sifi 2 is a really special pair that comes in at number four.
Reason To Buy
- Stronger connection, no latency
- Lightweight yet powerful
- IPX7 Waterproof
- Touch control
So, number three on the list is a newer pair this is the brand new 1More colorbuds. This is a pair that retails for $99. They do have a code where you can save 20 dollars. You can technically pick these up for $80.
Now I feel like as special as this pair is the only thing that holds this back is the controls. I will talk about that in just a second, your Bluetooth codecs. These have Aptx and ACC playback. It’s one of the most solid connections that I have.
I didn’t experience any kind of lag with movies or videos. The IP rating comes in at IPX5. This is not a completely waterproof pair but a pair that can resist rain or if you sweat heavily.
The battery life on the earbuds themselves, you are going to get around six hours where you are going to get around 22 hours total using the case. Now a huge plus here is the fast charge feature will give you two hours of use with a simple 15-minute charge.
Now like I said about the controls earlier I feel like it’s very limited. It does have it where the app will allow you to kind of swap out some of the controls. You are going to get the ability to control your volume.
You may have to sacrifice the ability to control something else. So hopefully in a later firmware update, you will have the ability to control more on the earbud without having to sacrifice anything.
The controls are what’s keeping this from being in my top two. But I still feel like the sound is what’s putting these over because technically I think they took the one more stylish and just amped everything up in this pair.
So you’re getting a much punchier base a cleaner treble. It doesn’t get close to the point of being bright. There is a lot of details when it comes to these and it just worked great with all genres and that’s what puts the 1More colorbuds in at number three.
Reason To Buy
- Premium Sound
- 15-minute charging time to fuel up
- Fast and Stable Connection
- Groovy Colorways
SoundPEATS Truengine III SE
So now we’re into the top two and to be honest, number one and number two could switch places at any time. I think they’re both great but I had to pick a number one and a number two.
I put the soundpeats truengine iii se in at number two. This pair comes in at sixty dollars and what they did was they took the original truengine se which was already one of my favorite earbuds.
They slimmed it down a little bit and they worked on giving you a little bit more while only charging $60. This pair uses dual dynamic drivers and it has a tws plus connection. What that means it’s allowing your device to connect to each earbud individually.
It doesn’t have one earbud depending on the connection of another. The Bluetooth codecs, you’re getting Aptx and SBC playback. These are coming in rated at ipx5.
This is a pair that can resist a lot of splashes when it comes to water but not a pair that you want to submerge into the water. The battery life on these I think is very impressive considering that they are powering two dynamic drivers.
Because you are going to get around six and a half hours on the earbuds themselves where you’re going to get around 30 hours total using the case. These do use touch controls and I am happy to say that they give you the ability to control everything.
But one of the big improvements they made over the original is they vamped up the volume a lot of people felt like the volume on the originals was a little bit low. I think soundpeats addressed that and these get a lot louder than the originals even though these get louder.
It doesn’t get distorted and the sound on these are just excellent. They have nice bass but it is a lot tighter than some of the other ones on this list. It’s not overpowering but you can feel the impact of it.
I feel like there’s a lot more focus on the midst. The treble has a nice brightness to it keeps away from sounding too harsh. You are having the ability to pick up a lot of details in the music. I think the soundpeats truengine iii se is a special pair and that’s what puts it in at number two.
Reason To Buy
- Dual Dynamic Drivers with Crossover
- Smart Touch Control & Mini Size
- 30 Hours Duration & USB-C
- Dual Mic & Worry-free Warranty
It should be no surprise that the Lypertek TEVI at number one for the price of $90. You are getting some incredible features but you are getting some of the best sounds that I have heard out of any pair of true wireless earbuds.
This pair has Aptx, ACC, and SBC playback. I never had any issues with dropouts and I have never experienced any kind of lag with movies or videos. Honestly, this is still some of the best responses I have seen for gaming on mobile devices.
The IP rating they come in rated at ipx7. This is a pair that you can drop into the water and you don’t have to worry. The battery life again is another thing that’s some of the most impressive I have seen.
Because you are going to get 10 hours on the earbud itself with around 80 hours total using the case. On top of that, they also have a fast charge feature where a 15-minute charge is going to get you two hours of use.
The Lypertek TEVI also uses button controls but they do give you the ability to control everything. So that is a nice bonus because I have noticed that a lot of other earbuds happen to miss out on giving you volume control.
I am happy to say that you have control over everything with the Lypertek TEVI. The sound on these is what makes these special. These do have an app that gives you the ability to just switch between different EQ settings.
To be honest the sound setting that they’re set at right out of the box is just impressive. Because this pair kind of leans more towards sounding like a nice over-the-ear pair of headphones.
The bass is there but you can tell that the focal point is the midst and the treble. If you are going to listen to high volumes might seem a little harsh to some people. I like it because you can pick apart every detail.
You just don’t ever feel like you are missing out on any genre that you’re listening to. The bass is not as overpowering as some of the other ones. I still like the impact that it has. This is a very nice controlled earbud.
You can tell that the focus is on making sure that you hear the clarity and pick up details that some of the other ones miss out on. So that’s what makes the light protect heavies pretty special and that’s what puts them in at number one.
Reason To Buy
- Full Control
- Waterproof Construction
- Extended Listening
- Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.0
